Gard’vin On/Off

A fiendishly clever contraption by L’Atelier du Vin’s design team, this is no ordinary wine bottle air extractor. We believe the Gard’Vin®ON/OFF keeps an opened bottle of wine in perfect condition for longer than any other similar device.  The bouchon or stopper has a red indicator that disappears once exactly the right amount of air has been pumped out - creating a wine preserving vacuum in the bottle. Some purists believe that over-extracting air can take away some of the aromas: under-extracting air can lead to over-oxydation with resulting wine deterioration. With the Gard’Vin®ON/OFF you will visually achieve the correct balance.
