The new Buying season has officially begun and head buyer, Sam Hood, has ventured out of the Amara office to the Top Drawer trade show in London. Hoping to spot the next big thing, Sam is looking for up and coming designers that will bring something fresh and exciting to the world of home fashion.

Top new brand buys at last season’s event were Byron & Brown and Je Vous En Prie, and new collections from Pip Studio and Jan Constantine were also snapped up and have been a real success here at Amara.

At this season’s show Sam is excited to see new items from Pantone including coffee pot & creamer sets and china from iconic brand Marimekko.  Also at the top of her list to check out are upcoming brand Bojje who create quirky high quality kitchenware and acclaimed designer Nick Monro’s collection of contemporary homeware.
