This Mumo Black/Navy Silk Cushion is made from 100% Raw Eco-peace Silk. The silk worm has left the cocoon before the silk is harvested, so it's vegan friendly. The land is farmed with natural fertiliser, therefore the silk is toxic free. The cocoons used are rejected from the mainstream silk industry, so there is no waste. They are rejects because the main silk industry uses machinery and the cocoons are often not the right size or weight for the machines to be able to process, Mumo's factories uses people not machines so this is avoided.  The factory is located in Maringa Town Brazil, and exists to help the local community of a nearby shanty town- favela- where it employs women from.

This Silk cushion looks fantastic and is socially and ethically responsible at the same time. It is available in copper, black/navy and cream colours and square and rectangular shapes.
